Dragon Taxis in Cardiff have upgraded from D21 to Sigma data terminals. After a speedy install they were quick to take advantage of the extra features available on the Sigma. They have introduced a ‘Travel Card’, which works in the same way as the ‘loyalty card’ scheme. Customers are given a swipe card to which credit can be added and deducted via the card reader on the Sigma. Dragon Taxis have 5000 cards to give to customers.
Another useful aspect of the sigma is that fare and mileage details can be sent back to base.
